The Austin Hatcher Foundation for Pediatric Cancer is hosting its third annual golf tournament, “Monday After the Masters" on Monday, May 13 at the Farm Golf Club in Dalton. The golf tournament, presented by Textile Rubber & Chemical Co., is a fundraising initiative for the Foundation to continue providing 100 percent free, comprehensive care supporting families with pediatric cancer. All 28 foursome spots are officially filled, though anyone is welcome to bid on the tournament’s silent auction items.
Officials said, "The Farm Golf Club is a popular 18-hole course, opened in 1988, located close to the Tennessee border. This course is a Tom Fazio design that hundreds of well-known golf courses, including Augusta National (home of the official Masters Tournament), are modeled by and after. The Farm Golf Club is famous for its challenging holes and stunning views.
"While foursome spots are full, anyone may bid on the tournament’s silent auction items. There are over 45 luxury items, ranging from gift cards to vacation experiences, including service packages, a golf putter from The Farm Golf Club, art, bourbon, and more.
"All proceeds from the tournament will go directly to the Austin Hatcher Foundation, providing specialized intervention and support to families affected by pediatric cancer. The Foundation offers services such as Mental and Behavioral Health Therapy, Occupational Therapy, NeuroPsych Testing, Grief Groups, Family Programs, and more, at no cost to families."
